Classified System Personnel Rules and Regulations:
003.01 Weekend Holidays. When a holiday falls on the first day of a teammate’s weekend, it shall be observed on the preceding day. When a holiday falls on the second day of a teammate’s weekend, it shall be observed on the following day. A weekend is two consecutive days off, whether they be Saturday/Sunday, Tuesday/Wednesday, Friday/Saturday, etc.
Most state teammates receive these holidays. If you are covered under one of the bargaining unit contracts, please ask your Agency Personnel Contact about holiday leave for your position.

President's Day - Third Monday in February
Arbor Day - Last Friday in April
Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
Juneteenth - June 19
Independence Day - July 4
Labor Day - First Monday in September
Columbus Day - Second Monday in October
Veterans Day - November 11
Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November
Day after Thanksgiving - Friday following Thanksgiving
Christmas Day - December 25
