Dan Birdsall
Employee Relations Division Administrator and Interim Risk Manager
Dan started with the State as a law clerk at the Attorney General’s office. He graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with distinction and worked at the Attorney General’s Office in the Consumer Protection Division as an Assistant Attorney General. In addition to general consumer protection work, Dan’s areas of emphasis including telecommunications, privacy, and cybersecurity law. In 2019, Dan joined DAS as Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Division. In May 2023, Dan was promoted to Administrator of the State Personnel Employee Relations Division. He enjoys his work in making the State of Nebraska a wonderful place to work for all public servants.
