A new object code has been added to the Nebraska Master listing in NIS. Account 595100 will be Contractual Aid. This account should be used for any contractual payment related to funding appropriated or budgeted as government aid. We do not want these types of payments coded as contractual services in the operating expense range of accounts since that results in inconsistent financial reporting for the State. Agencies needing this new object code will have to add it to the appropriate business units for their agency. This is a statewide level of detail 5 account. Agencies wanting multiple accounts to track types of contractual aid can add optional accounts as needed using the last two digits of this ac
