About Delivering Exceptional Customer Service in Government
The private sector pursues excellent customer service as a means to drive profits. As government, we don’t have profit, however, our “profit” comes in citizens’ ability to successfully use our services. If folks can smoothly get permits, transition successfully from inmates to citizens, access care and support from DHHS, etc, the quality of life for all of us goes up.
There is no magic bullet. Each customer wants something a bit different, and it is our job to figure out what that is and deliver it. Throughout this training, you will learn how to manage personal interactions, improve the process and experience of the customer, and to focus on outcomes.
