What is ESS?

Employees can use Employee Self Service (ESS) to

  • Review and/or modify personal information.
  • View their pay stubs, personal profiles, current benefit elections, and leave balances.

How do I use ESS?

Employees can use ESS from any computer with internet access - at work or at home, at a family member's or friend's home, or at your local library.

Every employee will need a userID and password to log on. Contact your Agency Human Resource Office if you have not yet received your userID and password. Click here to sign on to NIS.

When can I use ESS?

Employees can log on any time after they receive their userID and password.

Employees can use ESS to access pay stub information, their personal profile, their current benefit elections, and their leave balances

ESS is used during Open Enrollment. Employees enter their dependent information, beneficiaries, and benefit elections.
