Inventory Transactions - Creating an Issue Lesson


In this lesson you will learn how to do intentory transactions - creating an issue. 


Steps:

  1. Click the State of Nebraska link.

  2. Click the Inventory link.

    Step 2
  3. Click the Inventory - Agencies link.

    Step 3
  4. Click the Warehouse Item Transactions link.

    Step 4
  5. Click the Issues link.

    Step 5
  6. Click the Add button.

    Step 6
  7. Click in the Branch/Plant field.

    Step 7
  8. Enter the branch/plant number into the Branch/Plant field. 

     

    For this lesson enter "2505002W".

    Step 8
  9. Transaction Date – defaults to current date.  

     

    For this lesson we will not complete this field.

  10. Document Number – system assigns

    Step 10
  11. Doc Type – system defaults (II – Inventory Issue - No Mark-up).  

     

    For this lesson we will leave the default.

  12. G/L Date – defaults to current date.  

     

    In this lesson we will leave this field blank and let it default.

  13. Click in the Explanation field.

  14. Enter a brief explanation into the Explanation field. 

     

    For this lesson enter "TRAINING EXAMPLE".

  15. Click in the Item Number field.

  16. Enter the item number into the Item Number field. 

     

    For this lesson enter "36050-350754".

  17. Press [Tab].

  18. Enter the quantity into the Quantity field. 

     

    For this lesson enter "1".

  19. Click in the Location field.

    Step 19
  20. Enter the location into the Location field. Use the Visual Assist tool if necessary. 

     

    For this lesson enter "KS.200".

  21. Click the OK button.

  22. Record the Previous Document Number and Document Type if desired for future use.
