PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The State of Nebraska, Department of Transportation, is issuing this Request for Information, RFI1707
for the purpose of gathering information to evaluate the availability and capabilities of a GPS based
hardware/software combination system that can be mounted in a vehicle to collect GPS and roadway
inventory data while the vehicle is in motion. This system will be used on various roadways where a
roadway profiler is inappropriate.
