DESCRIPTION: The appropriate procedures for payroll
deduction of Voluntary Child Support through NEIS.
SCOPE: All permanent State employees subject to
Child Support payments.
PURPOSE: To ensure that any permanent employee wishing
to have Child Support payments deducted from their pay and remitted to the
Nebraska Child Support Payment Center or specified child support enforcement
center.
EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES: An employee must complete a Department of
Social Services authorization form (sample form is included)
Either of the following forms is available from
the Department of Social Services, Child Support Enforcement.
