Budget Division has increased Personal Service Limitation for the certified
encumbrance process. This occurred
For
agencies who requested the budget status loaded for their certified encumbrance, it has been
adjusted for PSL Certification amounts that were included in the
Manual
encumbrances representing transactions that have already been paid can be
liquidated. When liquidating a manual encumbrance, for payroll, you will
utilize the "Void a Journal Entry" process which can be found in the
General Accounting Training Manual. Be sure
to use a current General Ledger date.
The Budget Training Manual also has instructions for "Liquidating a
Manual Encumbrance".
