On Tuesday, July 28 each state agency received a letter from the State Treasurer, Shane Osborn, asking for certain expenditure information.  This email is to let all agencies know that Paul Carlson, State Accounting, and Amy Archuleta, NIS, from Administrative Services are working with personnel within the Treasurer’s Office to provide this requested information centrally.   It is our belief that we can extract the requested information from NIS and provide it to the Treasurer.   Therefore, we request that you do not respond to this letter at the present time.   Our goal is to provide the information for you.  Once we have demonstrated that we can provide the information in satisfactory form, the Treasurer will send out a notice that he is able to receive all necessary information centrally through NIS, and no further action will be needed by agencies.
